Membership Details

Membership into A+ is currently free for all Starter members. Members must be employers, career services personnel, vendors, consultants, or employer-facing practitioners who meet the following membership eligibility requirements.

Membership Eligibility Requirements:

• You must work for and serve in the capacity of an employer, career center, vendor, or related organization, or be self-employed (self-employed individuals must have a valid Employer Identification Number (EIN)). 

• You do not work for or support an organization that charges individuals (clients, students, the public, etc.) for job placement services/resources. 

• You are not an employer who pays individuals on a commission-only basis. 

• You must share an interest in supporting employers, employer relations practitioners, job seekers, and/or related roles. 

• You must have a commitment and interest in achieving employment outcomes. 

• You agree to contribute and/or participate in public discussions, events, and/or other related association activities periodically. 

• Be located in or have business interests in the United States of America. 

• You are open to innovation, new ideas, and new solutions to support an employer's perspective and demand-driven approach to hiring and career services. 

• CSU employees must use non-state funds for membership (A+ cannot collect state funds from the California State University (CSU) system. If you are a CSU employee and pay to join A+, you confirm that you are using an auxiliary, foundation, or another external funding source and that state funds are not being used for A+ membership.)
